Flappy Bird, the destroyer of patience and iOS screens, is making a return this Summer.
After creator Dong Nguyen pulled the app down this past February amidst online threats of violence and accusations of plagiarism, the most infamous app of 2014 is making a return. Nguyen said that he would be returning to games after some of the furor surrounding the title settled down.
The news was announced today during CNBC's Closing Bell. Nguyen said this future version of Flappy Bird will be "less addictive" than its previous incarnation.
