Game of Thrones the TV show is catching up to the books that the series is based on—A Song of Ice and Fire series, that is—and it probably won't slow down any time soon.
As a result, author George R. R. Martin has been feeling pressure to level out the gap between the book series and the TV series soon—and he still has at least two more books to write in order to complete the Song of Ice and Fire series.
Martin joked about the pressure the HBO show is putting on him on Twitter, saying the second half of the book he's writing is will be in the perspective of the simple-minded character, Hodor.
I'm in a rush to finish the next book, so the entire second half will be written from Hodor's perspective. pic.twitter.com/6trvaOZHp0
Hey, we'd read it anyway.
UPDATE: This is a fan Twitter account. It's still funny though.
