Armed Robbery Thwarted by Male Strippers in Las Vegas

He should've known better.

In a tale of Magic Mike meeting vigilante justice, a group of male strippers stopped a robbery in Las Vegas this week.

The suspect, described as a man between the ages of 25 and 30 and possibly under the influence of methamphetamine, allegedly broke into the Thunder from Down Under's dressing room at the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas on Tuesday and stole some of their belongings.

After spotting him in the midst of the crime, members of the group confronted him, leading to an altercation. Though his gun was discharged during the fight, he was ultimately disarmed and rendered helpless. One person was treated for a powder burn from the impact of the shot at the scene, and the suspect was hospitalized at University Medical Center.

He was charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.
