If all of the teasers and promotional shots we've already seen from the upcoming Scarlett Johansson alien movie Under the Skin (plus our review of the film) weren't enough to convince you that this movie is going to be creepy, perhaps this will do the trick: The official full trailer for the Jonathan Glazer-directed film, complete with dark shots of paralyzed victims, unsettling, eerie music, and ominous voice overs from the movie.
As previously reported, the film surrounds Johannson's character, an alien who is posing as a seductive Scottish woman to lure in and kidnap victims, so she can take them back to her alien buddies where they will be mutilated, fattened up, and, ultimately, eaten alive. Just like a really psychotic version of the witch from Hansel & Gretel!
Check out the trailer above. The film was picked up by distributor A24 (the same company that released Spring Breakers) last year, and will be released on April 4—the same day that another Scarlett Johansson movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is set to be released. So, y'know, if you're looking to have a Scarlett Johansson day at the movie theaters...go crazy.
