Bad news for fans of FX's Justified (which should really be everyone ever): It's looking more and more like next season of the series will be the last. Considering that season five just premiered last night, that means, with every passing day, we're just getting closer to the end of this show. And that is the saddest thing ever.

The first confirmation comes from series star Walton Goggins, who portrays Boyd Crowder on the series. In an interview with EW to promote the season five premiere, Goggins said the following about the future of the series:

None

The second confirmation comes from FX president Nick Grad at the show's premiere party in LA last night, according to Variety:

None

While none of this is really official confirmation, it seems like, unless anything changes in the near future, Justified will likely end after season six. Sad, but they all do have a great point—it's always best to end a show on a high note, while its still great, than to wait until everyone's sick of it and asking themselves, "wait, that show's still on?"

Justified airs on FX on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
