After receiving a major Oscar nomination in the best documentary category, 20 Feet From Stardom is coming to television. According to Vulture, director Morgan Neville is working with Mick Jagger to executive produce a one-hour TV drama based on the documentary, which examines the lives and careers of backup singers. While the documentary itself focuses on important backup singers through history (and includes interviews with legends like Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger and Sting), the TV drama would focus on "current" backup singers only.

There's also reportedly been talk of bringing the documentary to Broadway, which is kind of perfect since it's already literally about music. Not much info is available on that possibility, but, apparently, the show could feature the same group of women as the movie did.

So, if you haven't yet seen 20 Feet From Stardom yet...take this as your cue to watch it right now.
