Remedy released some scant new footage of Quantum Break for last night's Spike TV VGX awards, pulling back the curtain a little to reveal just what kind of game it is. "The end of time is coming," says Remedy head Sam Lake, explaining a little bit about the story. Evidently Quantum Break will feature two playable main characters – the game's high-octane action looks a lot like a mix between Alan Wake and Max Payne, and uses both cover mechanics as well as time manipulation.
What could that mean? What does that have to do with the TV show element that's supposedly tailored to how you play? Who knows. But it looks pretty damn cool anyway.
