Home Alone is highly considered one of the happiest, most beloved Christmas movies of all time, and, despite its slight violence content, totally acceptable for children to watch during the holiday season. It's not violence if it's funny and only the bad guys are getting hurt, right?

Just wait: This honest trailer might just change your mind. Weirdly enough, it may actually be the most honest thing any of us watch today.

The video is best experienced by just watching it, so in the interest of not giving too much away, here are a few highlights: Home Alone is basically a film—one part Ferris Bueller, one part Saw—about the worst family ever living in the whitest part of Chicago, and their youngest son, Kevin, who is pretty much a sociopath to make Patrick Bateman proud in the making. How did he even have the expertise to keep coming up with creative ways to injure those two burgulars? The same way Jigsaw from the Saw movies, probably.
