Because, you know, Seattle.

According to the Seattle Police Department, a thrift store in the city received a strange, yet generous donation: Two-and-a-half pounds of marijuana. It's the thought that counts, no?

Authorities were notified after an employee discovered the green gift in a donation bin. Police seized it, then reportedly turned it in as evidence for destruction. Someone desperately needed to step up and say "Hey, someone can use that!" The Seattle Police Department, who definitely have a sense of humor, issued a friendly reminder about acceptable donation items.

Still, whoever made the donation has a heart of green, or rather, gold
