Back when Kanye West premiered his short film, Cruel Summer, at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, he rented out a pavilion that housed a seven screen entertainment theatre just for the film. It sat near 200 people, and was designed with the Rotterdam architecture firm OMA, and designer Shohei Shigematsu. The film was crafted just for the seven screen 17' x 17' set-up. But it looks like Kanye has some more plans for it later on down the line.

Unearthed from the trenches of Google is the patent for the "Multiple Screens for Immersive Audio/Video Experience," which lists Kanye Omari West as the inventor. It was filed back on Jan. 12, 2012, and published July 18, 2013.

The patent is crazy detailed, and includes about 33 images to go along with it, which include sketches of the seating and the different ways the theatre could be set up.

World, don't count Kanye out just yet.
