Get an introduction to the main characters and settings as players take on the title of Edward Kenway, a privateer, whose come to the Caribbean to seek fortune and fame as the captain of a ship, the Jackdaw.
Black Flag's story is a mix of factual pirate names and places and fictional ones, like Kenway. Anne Bonny and Edward "Blackbeard" Teach are some of the real pirates who are featured in the game.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag drops on October 29 - next week - for Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It'll launch for Windows PC on November 19 and will be available with the launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
