That's right: someone in the world apparently posesses a laser lighter that is 2000 times more powerful than the sun (it's practically a weapon).
The lithium-ion, battery-powered lighter can blast a laser that can scale up to 2,000,000 watts per square meter. The sun doesn't even come close to this laser's intensity; even at its highest point in the sky the sun's light hits the Earth's surface at approximately 1000 W/m^2. Granted, we're trusting the creator's math here, but judging by what this laser can do to inanimate objects (metal, plastic, wood and rubber) we're not too skeptical.
Check out the video of the laser in action above. Around the 1:30 mark things start to get good.
