A recent study suggests that smoking weed keeps you skinny. The American Journal of Medicine published a study conducted by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the University of Nebraska and Harvard University researchers which found that the 17 million weed smokers that reside in the United States are thinner and have lower blood sugar levels.
According to scientists, this could be a result of the cannabis triggering adiponectin, which handles lipid metabolism and glucose. We aren't suggesting that everyone go on a marijuana crash diet, but there does appear to be a correlation between smoking weed and your weight. Anyone want to investigate?
