Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is headed to HBO. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the premium cable network has announced a new pilot in development that will star Johnson, and be executive-produced by both Johnson and his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg

Wahlberg's Entourage producing partner, Stephen Levinson, will also produce in addition to writing the script for the show, which is described as a half-hour dramedy following "active and retired athletes living in Miami." Battleship director Peter Berg - who also directed an episode of Entourage in 2012 - is set to direct the pilot.

This marks the most recent Wahlberg-Levinson collaboration for the network - in addition to Entourage, the two have also been attached to Boardwalk Empire, In Treatment, and, of course, How to Make It in America. Let's hope this show experiences a better fate than that one!
