What's the best thing a cop can do when the K-9 unit isn't available? Pretend to be a dog. Last Friday, police in New Haven, CT chased two men into a home where they sought refuge. Police were told a K-9 unit was being deployed, but there were no dogs available. That's when a brilliant cop barked like a dog, flushing the two suspects out.
23-year-old Norman Boone and 20-year-old Kwame Wells-Jordan ran out of the house in fear, right into police custody. Both were charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle, and authorities say they could face additional charges.
