From Ryan the Temp to published author - oh, how far you've come, B.J. Novak! According to The New York Times, The Office star has just sold not only one, but two books to publishing house Knopf in a seven-figure deal.

"The closest analogy for me is Woody Allen...underneath these stories is a real intellectual curiosity," Richard Abate, Novak's literary agent, commented to the NY Times. "I think their appeal is that they’re incredibly accessible and comic, but at the same time they’re exploring the modern condition." Well, those glasses he wore during season six of The Office were pretty Woody Allen-esque, so, sure.

The first book, which Abate revealed is a work of fiction that was written in the last year, will be released as soon as 2014.
