Since launching earlier this month, Sunrise, the calendar app, has steadily rolled out its improvements, one by one. What started as a Google Calendar client for iPhone is now a multi-faceted experience wherein users can tap an attendee on an event screen and be taken to a contact card that lists their phone, professional experience and Facebook profile photo. How does Sunrise 1.1 do this? By pulling data from users' Facebook, LinkedIn and phone contacts.

Other new features include the ability to create recurring events and add people to events without emailing them. You can still see the photos of everyone attending the event, but those who don't use Google Calendar won't be left out of the party.
