According to authorities, one of Charles Manson's followers was arrested Sunday for trying to sneak a cell phone to the infamous cult leader inside of a California prison. 63-year-old Craig Carlisle Hammond was taken into custody after a corrections officer at Corcoran State Prison noticed that Hammond had a wrist watch cell phone in an area where such devices were prohibited. Luckily, the phone never made it to Manson.

Hammond was charged with possession of an illegal communication device, attempting to bring a cell phone into a prison and conspiracy. He posted bail and was released. Manson is currently serving a life sentence for a string of grisly murders; he's been caught with a smuggled cell phone two times in the past four years.
