Filmmaker David Lynch's son is following in his father's footsteps. Riley Lynch, along with two classmates at the School for the Art Institute of Chicago have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new film project, a 20-minute short that is untitled for now.
From the description:

Riley's father, David Lynch - of course behind some of the greatest films of our generation including 1980's The Elephant Man and 2001's Mulholland Drive - has already spoken out on his Twitter in support of the project, writing, "I'm gonna donate some money myself because I really wanna see what he does next."
So far, Riley Lynch and his classmates, Drew Hanks, and Ethan Thibault, have raised about half their goal - $2,200 of $5,000. You can check out the Kickstarter page here.
