If apocalypse jokes weren't outdated, this news would be the perfect prompt for one. According to Deadline, kingpin of the Kardashian empire, Kris Jenner, has been bestowed with her own talk show, which is now tentatively titled Kris. The series will feature celebrity guests, and a mix of lifestyle topics including fashion and beauty, because obviously Kris Jenner's opinions on those subjects are in high demand.
The daily, one-hour talk show hails from Twentieth Television, and has been picked up by Fox, which will air it for a test-run of six weeks on Los Angeles and New York stations to gauge viewer interest. If the series performs well, it will go national - much in the way that The Wendy Williams Show and Bethenny did in the past. "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted," Executive Vice President of Development & Programming at Twentieth TV, Stephen Brown, commented. "All excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."
The series will begin airing in the summer. It's official: The Kardashians will take over the world.
