A man shot and killed a woman before turning the gun on himself at about 8:30 p.m. last night at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The shooter was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The man shot the woman, who was a vendor at the concierge desk, near the hotel's entrance before shooting himself. Las Vegas Metro Police Lt. Ray Steiber says that patrons fled after hearing the first round of gunshots, and that no one else was wounded.
Neither the gunman nor the victim have been identified at the moment,
