McAfee Speaks: Rogue Antivirus Pioneer and Murder Suspect Drops by CNBC (Video)

His first interview.

John McAfee, the founder of McAfee Antivirus whose bizarre saga of drugs and guns in Central America captured the nation's attention after he became a murder suspect in Belize, gave his first interview on CNBC this morning. McAfee returned to U.S. soil this week having been deported by Guatemalan authorities after a brief stint in jail (during which he suffered two mild heart attacks).

In the interview, McAfee maintains he "had nothing to do with the murder of Gregory Faull," his 52-year-old former neighbor who was slain in Belize last month. In response to allegations that he's been using and/or cooking Bath Salts, McAfee had a classic "crack is wack" moment.

"Bath salts are used by people that don't have a lot of money in order to get high in a way that makes you want to eat people's faces," he said. "If I decided to start doing drugs again, I have the resources to do good drugs."
