Behold! The Nintendo Wii has been reduced in size and price for our Canadian brothers to the north.

The Canadian exclusive will retail for $99.99 and be available come December 7. Obviously trying to horn in on some of those sweet, sweet holiday sales, Nintendo has released the above image of the new console. The redesigned system will feature a top-loading disc tray, and drop some of the features found in the full-sized version of the Wii.

Online connectivity and the ability to play Gamecube games have all been shed from the new version, along with the excess weight. If any of this sounds enticing, then Canada is the place for you. Nintendo hasn't said anything about an international release...yet.
