With D.C. still reeling from President Obama'sre-election, the Daily Grill in Dupont Circle is offering a political-themed dish. The bar at the Dupont location underwent a $250,000 renovation last month, and along with the new bar comes six additions to its menu. One addition is the Capitol Dog, an organic beef hot dog on a brioche lobster roll, complete with fire-roasted chiles.
The Capitol Dog is only available at the Dupont Circle location during happy hour, but also for just $3. The Daily Grill also unleashed a new, late night happy hour deal for the weekends to promote its new menu.
Happy hour runs from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and then from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday night.
On Saturday, its hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., then 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. On Sunday, it runs all day long.
