Three masked men attempted to rob a Chinese restaurant in Orlando, FL last night, but the robbery came to a halt because of an apparent language barrier. The three employees inside of the New China only spoke Cantonese (or at least acted like they did), and subsequently they didn't understand when the robbers ordered them to empty the cash register.

One of the assailants allegedly pointed a gun at the head of an employee while the other two attempted to open the register. A shot was fired, but police believe that was an accident. Frustrated, the men fled empty handed, but police caught up with them later.

No one was injured, and no arrests have been made yet.
