A Massachusetts man has turned himself in after whipping his girlfriend with a snake—no pun intended. According to police, 34-year-old Keith Paro's girlfriend was in a hot tub when Paro used the 4-foot snake to beat her. He also reportedly threw a set of temporary stairs at her, damaged several home furnishings and stole multiple items. He even threw the snake into the tub with her.
The woman suffered several bruises to her knees, back, arms and stomach. Sadly, the poor snake did not survive the attack. Paro was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the snake and the stairs), malicious destruction of property and cruelty to animals. Most important, there is no way to salvage this relationship.
