Apple Opens a Refurbished Outlet on eBay

Great way to save money on your next Apple purchase.

Apple secretly opened a refurbished store weeks ago on eBay, giving consumers a new inexpensive way to purchase its computers, tablets, and smartphones.

According to 9to5mac, the eBay store is a trial version being tested by Apple, so the full product line is not yet available. Products sold on eBay are currently sold for the same price as the ones in Apple's Refurbished store on Apple.com. Unlike Apple.com, which charges sales tax in every state, the eBay outlet only charges state tax in certain states.

All benefits of Apple refurbs come with the eBay offerings: All products are in a like-new condition, all come with a full one-year warranty, iPads and iPods come with new batteries, all products come packaged with a manual and cables, and they all get a final quality inspection by Apple.

eBay would not comment on Apple's Refurbished Outlet. In the meantime, check out all the offerings at the eBay Apple store here
