Things don't end well for people trying to fight firefighters with fire. 24-year-old Fatima Darby of Syracuse, NY allegedly attempted to light firefighters up as they responded to a fire at her home. As two firefighters entered her home, she reportedly threw a pot of flaming grease at them. But she missed.

The grease is believed to be the trigger for the fire, responsible for igniting her kitchen curtains. The grease then started another small fire after the pot was thrown. Then Darby punched a fireman. Hot mess, right?

Darby's 1-year-old son was taken into custody after all fires were extinguished. Neither the little boy, nor the firefighters sustained injuries, though Darby suffered burns on her hands. She was treated at a local hospital, and given a much-needed mental evaluation. She now faces charges of arson, obstructing government administration, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
