Courtney Stodden finally landed a role on reality TV and it's on VH1's Couples Therapy—even though she's only been married for a little over a year.

Stodden married actor Doug Hutchinson in May 2011—she was 16, he was 51. The couple flooded headlines for their controversial relationship and now that Stodden is legal, she's still making awkward comments about their age difference. First up, she sometimes gets Doug confused with "dad."

""I accidentally call him 'dad' - you know, Doug-dad, same thing," she said on VH1's Couple's Therapy, while Hutchison sat at her side.

"The thing about us is, we can laugh at ourselves and that was part of what we were trying to convey on our show," Doug said in response. "She can call me dad, I can say, 'I'm raising my wife.' It's all in good humor."

We're laughing at the "good humor," too. The couple was interested in joining the show to put Stodden in the limelight deal with communication issues, so naturally getting each others' names right is on top of the list.

Stodden also says her hubby wants to start a family.

"We got into that issue, that was one of the main problems we were facing in our marriage," Stodden says. "He wanted a baby and I did not want a baby. I'm not against kids, but my career is my baby."

Looks like he's raising his wife right.
