Guess what happens when you punch Darth Vader's wife? The empire strikes back. Ikbal Hare has been sentenced to 18 months probation of community service after punching the wife of a man who's actually named Darth Vader. The 35-year-old Hare was convinced that Mark Nokes, who changed his name to Darth Vader for charity, had slept with his girlfriend. Jealous, he attacked Darth Vader, whose wife tried to intervene.
Hare ended up punching the woman, though a prosecutor says there's evidence that suggests he was trying to punch Vader. Knowing that there was no way Lord Vader would let that slide, the woman locked her husband inside of their home. Hale returned with a knife, but fled after Vader jumped out of a window.
Hare was arrested two days later, and plead guilty in court on Monday. In addition to community service, he'll be forced to take anger management courses. That's what happens when you fuck with the dark side of the Force.
