The highly anticipated second season premiere of American Horror Story, titled Asylum, finally premiered last night on FX - and unsurprisingly, to record ratings. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first episode's 10 PM premiere garnered a series high of 3.85 million viewers, 2.78 million of which were in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 year age group.
These numbers mark a 22% increase in viewership compared to last season, which opened with 3.18 million viewers and closed with 3.22 million for the finale. Overall, super impressive.
