There's a rat in every bunch, and Edmund may be the most classic snitch across all of children's literature. Most reprehensible, though, is his price: namely, chocolate. He nearly sells out his brother and sisters and gets in with the White Witch all because of chocolate. Considering the way he fiends for Turkish Delight, one has to assume Narnia viewers are meant to infer that it's laced with crack.
