All he wanted to do was plant a few nice sunflowers. Police arrived at a 74-year-old Bavarian farmer's home after neighbors informed them that he was growing cannabis plants—roughly 1,000 three-meter tall cannabis plants, to be exact. The man explained that he was trying to plant sunflowers, so he scattered some bird food that he found. It turns out that those seeds were a sunflower/hemp combination, thus creating a strange plant that he had never seen before.

The police determined that the plants were not strong enough to yield a respectable high, yet still asked the farmer to destroy them with his tractor. Now he'll have to start from scratch.
