To get you prepped for the September 25 DVD and Blu-ray release of Avengers, Entertainment Weekly has posted a deleted scene from the movie to whet your appetite for the special features included on the discs. This is actually an extended look at the scene after the Hulk gets knocked off of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, but it adds a nice bit of characterization for Bruce Banner.
Featuring a cameo by Harry Dean Stanton, this scene serves as a bit of comic relief as Mark Ruffalo ponders whether or not he should go back to his smashing ways. You can expect even more scenes and features like this when Avengers hits stores next month.
