This sounds like another Cheech & Chong spinoff, or maybe a Redman and Method Man video—oh, wait. Anyway, if you've seen this very incognito Weed World van cruising around NYC (Union Square, specifically), we hope you don't have to ask what they're selling. Even if you don't know, don't ask what they're selling. The van was selling marijuana lollipops at 14th Street and 7th Avenue, and doing very well apparently.
Gothamist called the number on the van to find out if their product will get anyone lifted, and the gentlemen who answered the phone replied, "It's just novelty." When asked if the NYPD had bothered them, the man said the presence of the van was more of a medical marijuana-fueled "political movement."
The van has visited New York before, and made stops in L.A., but the 404 area code signals that they're based out of Atlanta. They feature flavors such as OG Kush and Purple Haze that cost $5, or 4 for $20.
