Silent Hill: Downpour developer Vatra Games may be dissolved, according to a statement from parent company Kuju. The Czech developer is "under review" by Kuju's management team, but has not been officially closed yet.

The announcement comes after a tweet from employee David Semik saying that the studio was closing. His exact words: "RIP Vatra Games".

Vatra Games, formed by a group of ex-2K Czech employees in 2009, has been working on an unannounced project not related to the Silent Hill franchise. According to Eurogamer Czech, the game is a combat-heavy action game similar to the Darksiders and God of War franchises.

The timeframe of the company's review has not been made public, so it's unclear whether or not the studio will have time to complete their current project.
