Rockstar Gives Fans a Tiny Two-Screenshot Taste of "Grand Theft Auto V"

Ask and you shall receive, Rockstar lovers.

Rockstar Games has a hard exterior, but the company can be areally softie sometimes, you know? For example, during their most recent "Asked and Answered" section on their blog they released two new screens of Grand Theft Auto V, just because somebody asked nicely.

Actually, there were two questions: First someone asked; “What is going on with GTAV?”, and then another person wondered; “Why don’t you give us more news?”

I'm actually kind of impressed. By internet standards, both of those questions were very polite.

Rockstar responded in kind, providing a reasonable, genuine explanation for why there has been so little media and information released about highly-anticipated sequel:

"As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans' 'don’t respect our fans’ 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it."

So there you have it. We aren't going to hear any more about GTA V for awhile, apparently. So take a good, hard look at these images. You can also check out the trailer again, for old times sake. The Complex version has a little extra commentary on the side.
