Calvin Harris is the producer behind "We Found Love," one of Rihanna's biggest hit records.

But the 28-year-old Scottish DJ— who's since had his own hit record with "Feel So Close"— says things got a tad too awkward between him and RiRi when she tried to take their professional relationship in another direction.

"She's tried," he tells Q magazine. "She's like, 'Yeah, come on and hang out in my dressing room.' I'm like, 'Arrrgh!' I mean, what do I say to Rihanna?"

If you're Harris, apparently you say very little.

"She's great, she's well friendly, she's nice, I see that," he says. "But, I can't. That's my own fault because I'm really awkward around her."

Harris claims he was very nervous while working with her and just as nervous when it came time to present the material to her label.

"I remember that it was very loud,” he says. "All the label were sat there. I just remember thinking, 'I hope all these f**kers like it. I hope they understand what it is.'"
