The new film Battle of the Year aims to take the best of the classic sports movie and combine it with the best of the classic breakdancing movie (oh yes, that's a thing) to create something brand new. From the look of the trailer, released last Friday, they might just have pulled it off. First of all, the talented-but-reckless athlete who has to be reined in by his hard-as-nails coach is played by none other than Chris Brown, so you know the moves will be legit. This is like a basketball movie starring LeBron, if LeBron could act. Said coach is played by Josh Holloway, Lost's Sawyer, who has been absent from our lives for too long, and Caity Lotz, who you might recognize from Mad Men and MTV's Death Valley, is bringing the much-needed female energy. But, let's face it, this one is all about the dancing, and from the look of it, we're in for one hell of a show (in 3D, no less). Look for the film to drop in early 2013.
