A brand-new piece of concept art from Iron Man 3 has gone online that shows off what looks to be some updated armor for Tony Stark. Rumor has it that the movie will be based on Warren Ellis' "Extremis" storyline, and in that comic, Stark injected himself with nanotechnology that allowed his armor to become a permanent part of his body that he could transform into at any time. It's possible what we're seeing in this concept art is Stark in mid-transformation, but, again, that's just an assumption.
For anyone heading out to the San Diego Comic-Con next weekend, this concept art will be available, courtesy of Marvel. But if you don't feel like braving the endless crowds of sweaty comic book fans, just check out the art above.
