Miller Lite has opened online voting in the Stand Up It’s Miller Time comedy competition, which pits 24 comedians from 4 major cities in a round-by-round laugh-off to win $10,000 and a feature in Complex magazine. In the first round, which runs now until June 25, online voters will select the top 4 comics from each market (Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, New Orleans) based on pre-recorded videos. Those 16 comics will advance to the second round, which will consist of 4 live events, one in each city, taking place between July 12 and 15. Those in the area will be able to tune in to local radio stations for details on event tickets.
There will be a wild card round, taking place between July 23 and August 6, which will send one last comedian to the competition finals in Las Vegas later in August. There, special guest judge Kevin Hart (who knows funny) will help determine who takes home the grand prize.
