Adding fuel to the rumors that Apple has an imminent update of its MacBook Pro laptop line in the offing, Best Buy has just slashed the price of the latest MBPs in its stock— in many cases by upwards of $100.
Such discounts have become routine as an Apple product nears the end of its life cycle. Typically, current model MacBooks and iThings sell at or near MSRP, but Best Buy and other retailers will likely seek to clear out as much of their Pro inventory as possible before Apple takes the wraps off the new hotness.
