Far Cry 3's shaping up to be one of the most exciting titles this year, and new footage from vg24/7's hands-on preview details how the multiplayer will be able to compete directly with the other big boys of 2012.

In a game of classic Domination, players can unleash battlecries to give their teammates a boost as they capture areas around the map. Even the game's killcam looks unique, with the view flying cinematically around the two players engaged in a deadly firefight. Orange gas disorients players, while barrel bombs dropped during an overhead fly-by carpet an area with explosives.

Other multiplayer modes include Firestorm, in which one team attempts to light ignition points at their opponents' base while the other team tries to capture their radio. If the first team succeeds, the base goes up in flames.

All in all it looks excellent. Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
