You know that problem that you have sometimes where you want to play Pikmin, TLoZ: Wind Waker, or Super Mario Sunshine, but you're not sitting in front of your television? Up until now, there was no solution.

But lo and behold, here comes CKmods to turn a boring piece of everyday tupperware into the second-coolest handheld gaming system we've ever seen: a portable Gamecube. The first-coolest, of course, is the Supaboy, which turns an oversized Super Nintendo controller into a portable SNES. But that's hard to beat.

And the portable Gamecube is completely impractical. For one thing, there's no way to access the controller's triggers or Z button. And the disc drive is literally sitting exposed on the back.

Still, it must be a good conversation piece. Would you pick up a portable Gamecube, or are you perfectly content with your iPhone? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
