Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is the geek's geek, the tinkerer's tinkerer. It's why he still camps out at Apple retail stores when a new product is released. It's also why he totes around numerous gadgets at all times. However, it would surprise many to learn that one of those gadgets is a Windows Phone 7 phone. If that didn't raise your brow, how about this: The Woz thinks Microsoft's mobile OS is the most attractive on the market.

Speaking with A New Domain's Dan Patterson, Gina Smith, and Todd Moore, Wozniak shed some brief thoughts on the current smartphone market. While Apple's iPhone is still favorite phone, he said that when it came to "looks and beauty", he preferred his Windows Phone 7 phone, a Nokia Lumia 900, over his Android phone, a Motorola Droid Razr. He went on to say that the apps in Windows Phone 7 were "much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone."

Woz believes the reason the Windows apps are able to outshine ones made for other platforms is a helping hand from Microsoft. "So I think that what Microsoft or Nokia did is that they went to some of the key app makers and got them to deliberately make specialized beautiful ones or they put their own themes on," he explained.
