Dexter is getting a new supporting character as The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Ray Stevenson (Thor) has been cast in a substantial role in a multi-episode arc for the seventh season of the show. The site is reporting that Stevenson will play Isaac, the leader of a Russian organized crime syndicate. He comes to Miami to figure out who killed one of his partners.
Dexter was recently renewed for two more seasons, which would take it through its eighth season. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it is generally accepted that will be the show's last year. The seventh season of Dexter will premiere on September 30 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
