Today in totally heartwarming stories: A limbless man is planning on swimming around the world with the aid of fins attached to prosthetic arms and legs.

Philippe Croizon previously made headlines in 2010 for swimming the English channel in the same fashion, becoming the first quadruple amputee to do so - in less than 14 hours, no less.

Croizon is expected to spend about 45 hours in the water, swimming a series of narrow straits that totals to about 53 miles.
