Currency trader and amateur photographer Phil McGrew captured this awesome image from the window of his San Francisco apartment. A rare thunderstorm hit San Francisco on Thursday night, and while McGrew wasn't daring enough to venture outside to snap the photo, he did an excellent job of capturing the exact moment where eight bolts of lightning hit the Bay Bridge.
McGrew hails from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., so he's used to seeing storms like this.
