Google seems to be swiftly moving ahead with Project Glass. Company co-founder Sergey Brin stopped by a charity event last night, sporting a prototype and according to attendees, the unit was "self-contained" and emitted a blue light continuously over Brin's eyes.

Word is most of Google's top brass have been seen around with their own pairs, so the public exposure could mean a release is imminent.
