Justice goes to die in Arizona—just ask DMX. It’s a police state, home to SB 1070, the overreaching anti-immigration law that gives 5-0 free reign to stop and detain “suspected” illegal aliens without just cause.

An arrest could mean deportation without warning, so a new app dubbed “eAPP” (the Emergency Alert and Personal Protection App) helps users get word out to family, lawyers, and consulate if and when a SB 1070-related incident goes down. It sends an alert to a pre-set list of folks reporting a user’s location and date and time of incident. It records audio and video, too, all of which can be stored in an online database, therefore building an ever-evolving public record of Arizona’s contempt for human rights.
